This year St Peter’s is the right place and right community for you to share the joyful celebration of Christmas. Whether you’re looking for something traditional or atmospheric or fun – HPC has all of this as we celebrate Christmas 2022 and put Christ at the centre of that celebration.
Beer and Carols does what is says on the tin! Share a festive drink and enjoy your favourite carols accompanied by crass in a relaxed party atmosphere. Tuesday December 20th from 7pm. Teas and coffees and non-alcoholic festive options will be available.
The Huddersfield Carol Service is at 4pm on December 17th. With traditional carols, stunning choral music and the readings which lead us on the road to Bethlehem.
Want to share a fun nativity with the children big and small in your family? Come along and join us for the Dress up Nativity on Christmas Eve at 4pm. (Supporting the Children’s Society).
On Christmas Night (11.30pm start, December 24th) we have our atmospheric “Midnight Mass” – sharing the communion that marks mysterious passion and glorious resurrection of Jesus as we celebrate his birth.
On Christmas Day (10am) we again gather at our communion table to celebrate with the whole church family and all those who wish to join us.
All our services are public events and those who are new to the area or new to faith are as welcome as those who already feel they are part of our community of faith here at HPC.
