Welcome

Welcome to Huddersfield Parish Church of St. Peter’s.

We are a diverse church seeking to serve God in every aspect of our lives and the life of our town. Our Anglican worship draws on the riches of the Christian tradition old and new.

Prayer has been said here for hundreds of years and we believe in the transforming nature of prayer in our lives today. Daily and weekly offices follow a regular pattern, and we welcome diverse congregations of regular worshippers to our services.

Huddersfield Parish Church is also the major civic church for the area, regularly hosting diocesan services and civic events such as the annual Service of Remembrance

Huddersfield Parish Church is also there to celebrate and mark milestones in the lives of families, for example with baptisms, weddings and funerals.

We are part of the Inclusive Church movement, welcoming people from all backgrounds as we walk together on the journey of faith. We seek to work closely with the other Christian churches and to deepen friendship and understanding with other faith communities.
