We are a church seeking to serve God in every aspect of our lives and the life of our town. Our Anglican worship draws on the riches of the Christian tradition old and new.
Prayer has been said here for hundreds of years; we believe in the transforming nature of prayer in our lives today.
We seek to work closely with the other Christian churches. We seek to deepen friendship and understanding with other faith communities. We are a congregation seeking to grow: we have been given a great task and a great vision. We welcome people from all backgrounds to join us on the journey of faith.
Celebrate with us!
The church building is currently closed for public worship following guidance from the Church of England and the UK Government. As of the 22nd June, 2020 we are opening for one hour each weekday from 2pm to 3pm for individual private prayer only. You’re most welcome to come to the church building for that purpose. There are a series of measures in place in order to help keep you safe and well while in church and we would ask that you carefully observe the guidance on the notices placed around the building.
The church continues to live and work in and around the community of Huddersfield even while our building is closed.
Huddersfield Parish Church is accessible via a ramp entry for people using wheelchairs. Parking permits are available for parking bays directly outside the main entrance of the building on Byram Street, and a hearing induction loop is used during services.
