A gentle reminder that, because of the arrival of the Olympic torch in Huddersfield on Sunday 24th June, the Parish Eucharist will be at 3pm rather than 10am.
As the torch is making it’s way through the town, the Rt.Revd. Stephen Platten, Bishop of Wakefield, and the Revd. Canon Simon Moor, vicar of Huddersfield Parish Church, will be helping to serve refreshments to the crowds that will no doubt turn out – despite the rain! – to watch the torch’s progress.
Please do come and join us to watch for the torch and for our service in the afternoon.
