We were delighted to welcome our new curate Rev Wayne to Huddersfield Parish Church for his welcome service on September 7th. Wayne was licensed by the Bishop of Huddersfield, Bishop Smitha Prasadam, at the Community of the Resurrection on Monday September 1st before we welcomed him on September 7th with much joy and much cake! Wayne has transferred his curacy to the Diocese of Leeds to enable him to take up the post of Racial Justice Officer for the Diocese. He is writing an article for the website to introduce himself to you and we will post it soon.
