Many will be aware that this week HPC is hosting a large scale production of a brand new musical adaptation of Beowulf as part of Kirklees Year of Music 2023. This is a huge event – and is already fully sold out for the 5 performances happening between today, Wednesday November 8th and Saturday November 11th.

We hope to bring you some reflections from members of our church about their own participation in the event, and about what it is like for a church community to embark on something which is creative and positive, but also challenging and perhaps a little scary for a community of faith.
