Easter Celebration

Huddersfield Parish Church. Easter Sunday. Fine weather – Outside for some liturgy. Wonderful, expressive music. A simple baptism knitted into the worship. A high altar Eucharist. Variety aplenty. Eggs for all at the end.

Easter Eve Preparations Complete

St Peter’s Church is prepared. An Easter Garden set, a resurrection cross (the Christmas tree with Advent prayers) is ready for flowers tomorrow, the Paschal candle is dressed and the High Altar is radiant.  We wait for the resurrection dawn.
