

From 28th November our Christmas Tree of Remembrance will be available in church. All are welcome to write a prayer or the name of a loved one on the stars provided and add it to the tree. There will be a special service after Christmas on Sunday 11th January at 4pm, where we offer these prayers and remember loved ones.

Saturday 29th November from 11am – Christmas Fair
Join us for the Huddersfield Christmas Celebrations, inside and outside. Fun traditional stalls, crafts, baked goodies, warmth, music, an interactive Nativity trail for the children – and always a warm welcome. Come and join us anytime between 11am and 3pm.

Sunday 14th December at 4pm – The Huddersfield Carol Service
The perfect start to every Christmas here in Huddersfield. Traditional and delightfully atmospheric carols by candlelight. Hear the ancient story of God’s love come to earth in the perfect surroundings of St Peter’s. Guaranteed to connect you and yours to the real meaning of Christmas.

Tuesday 16th December at 6:30pm – Beer and Carols
Does what it says on the tin! Join us for a warm and sociable evening of beer and carols. Plenty of singing, mulled wine and great beer and non-alcoholic options.

Friday 19th December and Saturday 20th December – A Noisy Cow Theatre Company production of “A Christmas Carol”

Sunday 21st December at 6:30pm – The Longest Night
A contemplative and accessible service for anyone feeling sad or isolated by the approach of Christmas or who wants to pray with people who feel that way at this time of year.

Christmas Eve at 4pm – Nativity Service
Kids young and old are welcome to dress up and join in with our fun and family friendly crib service, lasting about an hour.
Always wanted to be a King? Never got to be Mary? Now is your chance to share in the joy of the Christmas story.

Christmas Eve at 11.30pm – First Eucharist of Christmas
Traditional Midnight Mass – we welcome the arrival into the world of Christ our Saviour. A calm but joyful communion service with music provided by St Peter’s choir. Livestreamed on YouTube.
