Services at Huddersfield Parish Church
Sunday September 18th
8.30am BCP Communion with Prayers for our Sovreign Lady.
10.00am Parish Eucharist with Eco theme – incorporating prayers for the late Queen.
7.15pm Civic Special Commemoration Service Marking the Death of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, ending with participation in the national minute of silence at 8pm.
Wednesday September 14th
12.35pm Eucharist in a period of national mourning.
Sunday September 11th
8.30am BCP Communion with Prayers for our Sovreign Lady.

Opening for the Book of Condolence
The church is open throughout the period of national mourning for the signing of the book of condolence, candle lighting and prayer requests. We are open from 8am to 4pm daily, with members of our community on hand to offer guidance between 10am and 1pm each day. You are welcome to join in with our simple service of Daily Prayer at 12.35pm each day, and our Communion Service at 12.35pm on Wednesdays.

Civic Events
The Vicar was present with other faith and community representatives at the Proclamation of King Charles III in the Borough of Kirklees, held at Huddersfield Town Hall at 2pm on September 11th 2022. A link to video of the event will be posted as soon as it is available.
On Thursday September 15th Canon Rachel and Rev Amanda and Civic representatives will be attending a memorial event at the invitation of the Baitus Samad Ahmadiyya Mosque, which lies within the parish. We will share pictures when we can.
On Friday September 16th there will be a memorial event at the Hindu Temple on Zetland Street. our faith community will be represented there by Bishop Mark Sowerby and Fr Leslie Pinfield at the request of Canon Rachel.
