This year’s Interfaith Week is taking place from the 8th to the 15th November, but due to the coronavirus outbreak many of this year’s events will be held virtually.
The HPC team will be participating in several of the events on the below flyer. Building relationships between faith communities is one of the key ways in which we can love our neighbours in our diverse and vibrant area. Keep a look out for blog posts and social media about these events and why not join in with one yourself and send a blog post in to the parish office?

Petals for Peace
In these current times of uncertainty many people may be living with fear of what the future might hold. People of faith are however able to find HOPE through what they believe. As part of National Inter Faith Week this year the Kirklees Community Cohesion team would love to know what your fears are and more importantly your hopes for the future by inviting you to complete a petal as part of this year’s ‘Petals for Peace’.
Your message will then be shared during Inter Faith Week through the Cohesion team’s Twitter and Facebook to a wider audience sharing a hope to reach the many.
This is a Kirklees wide project and we’d like to see your message of hope no matter where you are.
Send it in:
You can send your message of no more than 50 words via email to: Mohamed.Saloo@Kirklees.gov.uk
Your message will be put on to a Petals for Peace poster (see attached) and circulated via the Cohesion Twitter and Facebook page during Inter Faith Week.
