In Huddersfield Parish Church today (Friday 29 September) and tomorrow (Saturday 30 September) there is a stunning and thought provoking installation.

270 placards, with photographs and names of journalists who have been imprisoned and/or persecuted in Turkey are displayed in the pews of St Peter’s.

Visitors are encouraged to write a post card, to have a photograph with one of the placards and to recognised the scale of this unseen abuse of free speech.

This Amnesty International sponsored display is free to enter.
