Huddersfield Parish Church Choir begins a new season and a new era this Friday.

Practices will begin with the junior choir meeting at 7.00pm – new children are welcome at the choir vestry door at the south-east/ring road side of St. Peter’s. The rehearsal will last an hour and parents are encouraged to stay and perhaps sing themselves.

At 7.30pm the senior choir practice for half an hour alongside the children and then on their own for half an hour until 8.30pm.

During ‘fresher’s week’ at the University we are hoping to recruit other singers as ‘scholars’ or through the ‘work placement scheme’.

The music at Huddersfield Parish Church adds texture to the worship and through the training offered we hope to encourage music and the development of young and old alike.
