James Battye – Choral Evensong

“My soul truly waiteth for the Lord.” An anthem written by James Battye (1803-1858), a founder member of Huddersfield Choral Society and a parish clerk at Huddersfield Parish Church.

The anthem was sung as part of Choral Evensong and an eclectic group of singers came together to perform the piece.
