As warm as the cold winter weather would allow, plenty of people browsed our Huddersfield Parish Church’s Charity Fair.

Bacon butties, veg stew and tea aplenty kept the workers and guest happy.

The Mayor of Kirklees, Counsellor Paul Kane visited all the stalls and spoke with their representatives and was impressed by the numbers of charities that attended this event.

HPC regulars and shoppers avoiding the rain helped to make the occasion.

Today also saw the turning on of the Christmas Tree Lights for the remembrance tag over the Christmas Period.
