Cumbria Coastal Way

Over the next few days, Rev Canon Simon Moor, Peter, his son, along with Chris (the same team that walked The Great Glen Way and The Arran Coastal Way) are walking 60+ miles of the Cumbria Coastal Way for sponsorship in aid of church lighting. There will be a regular blog following their progress available on the Impressions From St Petes site which can be found using the link below:

Glad to hear that you have got there safely and have given your legs a short taster today. All the best for your 14 miles tomorrow. Kenneth.

Looks like lovely blue sky today but I do not like the looks of that ferocious bird hovering behind you. You must look after poor Chris better than you seem to be or there will only be 2 of you. The weather looks nice for you tomorrow. All the best. Anonymous (Kenneth).

My comment of yesterday seems to have been lost in transit. You seem to have been having a good time paddling today. So far as I can see you should be doing plenty of paddling tomorrow. All the best. Kenneth.

The one consolation today is that you could have got a lot wetter here, especially this morning. Simon’s face says “I am really enjoying these fish and chips”. I do hope you cleared the litter from the table!!!. Kenneth.

Well done for completing the walk. I think I speak for everyone at the Church when I say thank you for doing the four walks. I think we should especially thank Chris, who has no connection with the Church other than knowing Simon and Peter, for doing the walks and for being a father figure and looking after our two “scallywags”.
One again WELL DONE and have a safe journey back.
