Next Saturday at 2.45pm the Mayor of Kirklees, Councillor Ken Smith is holding a ‘Civic Welcome’ to the first Bishop of Huddersfield, The Right Reverend Dr. Jonathan Gibbs to the area.
A wide ranging congregation from the wider Huddersfield will witness this historic day for the town and surrounding districts.
