This week Huddersfield Parish Church has its Harvest Celebrations. The theme of stewardship will be high in out thoughts at the morning service.

We are looking to support the work of the ‘Welcome Centre’ at the Methodist Mission. The Welcome Centre offers practical support, including food, toiletries, bedding, household items and warm clothes to individuals and families in crisis. The people we help are facing job loss, debt and eviction, homelessness, fleeing violence, have drug or alcohol problems or are struggling with mental or physical health issues, younger people and asylum seekers and other problems.

St. Peter’s are look ing for Harvest offerings of:

Tinned Cooked Meat, Tinned Fish, Tinned Meat Meals,
Tinned Soup, Cup-a-Soup, Instant Noodles,
Pasta, Tinned Pulses, Sugar, Teabags,
Toilet Roll, Toothpaste, Shower Gel, Shampoo,
Single Sheets, Tin Openers, Towels

Any donations can be brought to any of the service, the “Coffee Gathering” on Saturday or left in church during the week.
