Huddersfield Parish Church is looking for a gifted and enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of ‘Choir Director’.

This remunerated post involves leading and training St. Peter’s choir as well as preparing and maintaining a distinguished existing repertoire.

Alongside the incumbent, and an established and professional organist, the successful candidate would help to develop and encourage other forms of liturgical music through groups and individuals.

The choir is made up of University students and other musicians who have stayed in the area after graduation. Our vision for the future is for musicians from a wider group to further develop the music within Huddersfield Parish Church, where a high standard of liturgical dignity and quality sacred music have been the tradition over many years.
