Through ‘Kirklees Interfaith Schools’ and the ‘Directorate for Children & Young People- Learning’ – varying age groups of students visit different faith centres thoughout the borough. Today this group visited Huddersfield Parish Church and then onto a local Mosque in the afternoon.
Show, tell and question was used to look at how the Church of England’s (as found at Huddersfield Parish Church) express belonging and community. Oh yes – some students got to dress up! Each one felt special and set aside.
