Each Tuesday evening the bells at St. Peter’s are rung for practice. Those who are experienced bring on those who are young in the art. We have students from the university and novices from among the congregation and room for others to learn. Each Tuesday we ring up to ten bells at once and in between individuals are learning to handle their own rope and own bell.

Our aim is to eventually ring for Sunday service – unfortunately the vicar and some choir members (who also ring) cannot be in two places at once on a Sunday morning.

So if you have rung before or want to learn – come along and climb the tower steps any Tuesday at 7.30pm
