Welcome Centre Food Parcel Appeal

Our neighbours at The Welcome Centre – based at the Huddersfield Method Mission on Lord Street – have appealed for donations of groceries to help families and others in crisis. Can you help?

The centre has seen an 85% increase in the number of people using their services during the past 12 months, supporting people in need through the provision of food packs, toiletries, bedding, towels, home-starter packs, clothes and baby items.

As a result of the increased demand, stocks of groceries are running low. The centre is in need of long-life milk, tinned and dried potatoes, tinned meats and fish, tea bags, instant noodles, sugar, biscuits and toiletries.

If you are able to donate to this charity that provides an exceptionally important service to people in need in Huddersfield, you can leave donations at the reception of the Methodist Mission between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
