Palm Sunday at St.Peter’s

Palm Sunday at St.Peter’s was marked by a procession around the Church, witnessing to Jesus’ arrival in Jerusalem. Palm crosses were carried by the congregation and handed out to those who were met along the way. Children wore donkey masks to represent the animals that carried Jesus into the town.

Later in the service, clergy washed the feet of the congregation and each other, being alongside Jesus as he washed the feet of his disciples and spoke to them – and to us – of servanthood.
